All sun and smiles for a lovely 2015 Open Day

March 25, 2015

Blessed with clear blue skies last Saturday afternoon, the Rushall Garden Open Day was a terrific success, with many people from near and far coming to see how the garden is growing, enjoying the company of other earthy people and also buying from the stalls of homemade cakes and produce, seedlings and the jumble sale.

We also had visits from Hon Adam Bandt MP, Hon Kelvin Thomson MP, Cr Jackie Fristacky who all stayed for a while to chat and enjoy the celebrations.

Thank you all so much for your support for our garden community. We really appreciate your help, and the smiles that go with it!!

Garden native resident

February 2, 2015

A number of native wildlife regularly visit the garden for water and a rest. However we also have some native creatures that have chosen to reside in our garden and we take great pleasure in sharing the garden with these. One of our most curious and friendliest is a beautiful Blue Tongue Lizard. See him below
