Raingarden demonstration and construction

Holden Street Neighbourhood House have an exciting project underway!

On Saturday 7^th July they will have a demonstration raingarden installed in their front garden (thanks to City of Yarra and Melbourne Water).

The session will run from 1pm – 3.30pm.

Work off all those Easter eggs… Autumn working bee this Saturday 14th, 2pm to 4pm

The Autumn working bee is on this Saturday 14^th April   2 – 4 pm, with cold drinks and BBQ afterwards.

Merri Corner Veg-in, Veg-Out

A group of Brunswick gardeners are starting up a new garden share group with the Merri Corner Community Garden. This one is a bit different because its mostly about gardeners getting together to swap seeds and seedlings, gardening tips and generally to socialise.

Feb 2012 Working bee

What a turnout and no rain despite the menacing clouds!

Many helping hands made “light” work and we managed to achieve a fantastic result. The garden looks so much better now.

Summer working bee this Sunday 19th

The summer working bee will be on this Sunday 19th from 10am to 12 noon.

We will be weeding (couch and kikuyu grass removal), turning the composts and doing a few other small jobs.
